Well done to the organisers of the recently held Leinster Yonex Masters Open 2023. There was a great vibe in the hall with many of the participants catching up since last years tournament. Nhat Nguyen has won the AIG FZ Forza Irish Open 2023 in spectacular fashion beating one of the top talents in European badminton Alex Lanier 21-13, 21-19. Nhat put on a show to the strong home crowd fighting from 19-12 down in the second set to win 9 points in a row and claim his first Irish Open title. This years International Challenge event treated those spectators in attendance throughout the week to some brilliant matches, but the best was saved to last with all five finals being tightly contested.
