OPEN DAY TERENURE CENTRE
It was a fantastic turnout earlier at the Terenure Badminton Centre Open Day from 2.00pm today
Over 80 children of all ages came and took the "Juvenile Skills Challenge" and all thoroughly enjoyed the 7 challenges put to them and cleared us out of the "shuttle trinkets" and other goodies as prizes plus signing up and expressing interest in the juvenile clubs in the vicinity.

Lots of adults also came along and had a "taster of badminton", many signing up for our upcoming Beginners and Imp rovers course - the beginners now booked out
Plus there was plenty of interest in the other activities that take place in the Centre - a great an rewarding day for all

Special thanks to the many coaches that came along and helped with the juveniles and adults, some commandeered on the spot, to help us cope with the huge amount of kids that turned up - very much appreciated.
Thanks to our resident tenants, Slimming World Terenure Badminton Centre, Amazing Minds Montessori, Y2O Yoga and Amatsu for their attendance and providing information on their activities.
Thanks also to Martyn Evans Sports (rackets.ie) for donating the Yonex racket - won in the free draw.
Many thanks to the hard working Midland Committee for all the preparatory work making sure this was well promoted and went well on the day

That's it for a few days - next up in the Leinster's Terenure Badminton Centre is a Table quiz by the YAC's.
This Thursday 23rd August at 8.00pm to raise funds for juvenile badminton development. - Hope you can join them and show your support.

Take a look to see how a Yonex shuttle is made.
Leinster Badminton use Yonex shuttles in all our tournaments because in our opinion they are the best and most durable shuttle around and we are delighted to have Yonex Ireland continue as Sporting Partner to Leinster Badminton.
