Nhat Nguyen is in Buenos Aires, Argentina competing in the Youth Olympics.

Nhat who is seeded three in the Men’s Singles has won his first three games in his group and has therefore qualified for the quarter finals.

Congratulations to all the young players that took part in the Yonex Leinster U/13 & U/17 Open held in Baldoyle Badminton Center yesterday - a fantastic event . many great matches with lots of future talent.
This event was run by the YAC's Committee and thanks David Hogan and his team for running this event

Congratulations to all our Senior Players that took park in the 2018 European Senior Championships that took place in Guadalajara, Spain over the last number of days.

We are delighted to report that some of our senior players reached the finals and take home medals
In the +55 Women's Doubles Sian Williams and Pam Peard took the Silver medal
While in the +50 Men's Doubles Mark Topping with Graham Henderson from Ulster took the Gold.

While in the Mixed events, in the +50's Mark Topping took the Silver with Dorothy McCullough from Tyrone
and in Mixed +55's Pam Peard took the Silver with Graham Henderson.
Fantastic results by our senior players doing themselves and Ireland proud
