DUBLIN DISTRICT LEAGUES & CUPS

The DDLC Committee are committed to the promotion of playing and enjoying the amazing sport we all love, Badminton.

The DDLC’s primary role is to run the Dublin and District Leagues & Cups competitions and the Committee will always give assistance to all clubs, existing or new, looking to partake in the DDLC Events.

As well as the League & Cup, the DDLC Committee runs 7 Graded fun tournaments throughout the season which are open to all Badminton Ireland affiliated players, the next of which is the ‘Octoberfest’ over the October Bank Holiday weekend.

DDLC League and Cup Draws – 2025-26 Season

We are delighted to announce that the final Team Entry for the 2025 – 2026 DDLC Season is 530 Teams across 78 participating Clubs.

This is a fantastic entry and the highest number of teams entered for over the last 20 Seasons.

Included in the 78 clubs are 7 new Clubs taking part in the DDLC for their very first time and also 4 Clubs returning to the DDLC after a number of seasons absence – all are most welcome.

The New Badminton Clubs are:  AeroShuttle BC,  Astro BC,   Blackrock Utd BC,  Fingal BC,  Kilcock Phoenix BC , Portlaoise BC & Pulse BC

There “Returning Badminton Clubs are:  Axis BC , Baltinglass BC , Smith Nirvana BC & Titans BC

We would like to thank all Club and Match Secretaries for turning around your Club teams in such a tight timeframe, and we would like to wish all clubs and their players a great and successful 2025/26 badminton season.
