It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the death of Carolyn Gordon.
Carolyn started playing badminton with Rathfarnham Parish in the 90s. As she loved the game so much, she decided to do a coaching course with Badminton Ireland and coached for Leinster Badminton at Whitehall Road and also coached members of the public for several years.
In 2004 she became involved with Special Olympics Ireland and was a member of the Flying Trojans Badminton Club for the past 22 years. As well as being a Coach she also took on the role of Treasurer.
She played an integral part with the Club, and her commitment and enthusiasm never waned.
Carolyn will be missed sorely missed by all members of the club.
