INTERCOUNTY
INTERCOUNTY COMPETITIONS
There are several Intercounty competitions held every season for both adult and juvenile players. These competitions are organised by the CAC, the YACS & BI.
JUVENILE
The Youth Activities Committee organises Intercounty competitions every season for County Teams at U11, U13, U15 & U17. The winner of each age group in Leinster then goes on to represent Leinster at the All-Ireland Finals which is organised by Badminton Ireland.
In 2019, Leinster representatives had a clean sweep across all ages.
In 2020, Dublin had won Gold in Leinster U11 & U13. Kildare had won Gold in U17. The U15 Inter-County Leinster competition was postponed due to the Pandemic as were the All-Ireland Finals.
SENIOR
The County Affairs Committee organise the Leinster Senior Intercounty competitions. This competition is open to all counties in the province and teams are welcome to compete from Grade 1-5. In addition to the Intercounty competitions, the CAC also organises the Inter-League & Graded Individual events.
