Joe was a lifelong stalwart of Leinster Badminton and a life long supporter of Terenure Badminton Centre.
Joe was a gentleman. He had a lovely way of dealing with people .He was very popular and everyone knew him or of him .
He played Badminton for Garda/Avondale and Mount Pleasant.
He served on the Leagues and Cups Committee as Chairman for over 25 years.
He served on the Executive Committee and was a Vice President of the branch. Until Recent years he was active member of the Midland Bar Committee.
He was awarded Honorary Life Member membership for his contribution to Leinster Branch.
He always supported Branch events and regularly attended Premier League Games, Table Quizzes, and musical evenings.
He was very musical and had a lovely singing voice. He passed away as he reached his 86th birthday .
Leinster Branch extend their sympathies to Joe’s family and his large circle of friends.
