DUBLIN DISTRICT LEAGUES & CUPS
We are delighted to announce that for the 2024/25 Season the final Team Entry into the DDLC Leagues and Cups is 482 Teams from 68 participating Clubs.
This is a fantastic entry and the highest number of teams entered for over the last 15 Seasons.
Included in those 66 clubs are 8 new Clubs taking part in the DDLC for their very first time and all are most welcome.
The new Badminton Clubs are:
Buddies BC, Castlelands BC, Clane St Brigids BC, Leixlip Phoenix BC, Liffey BC, Phoenix Kildare BC, Ryston BC and Shaheens BC
There are also 4 Clubs returning to the DDLC after a number of Seasons absence , namely : DCU BC , Kildare CMWS, Naas BC and Mullingar BC
We would like to thank all Club and Match Secretaries for turning around your Club teams in such a tight timeframe
and we would like to wish all clubs and their players a great and successful 2024/25 badminton season.
The DDLC Committee are committed to the promotion of playing and enjoying the amazing sport we all love, Badminton.
The DDLC’s primary role is to run the Dublin and District Leagues & Cups competitions and the Committee will always give assistance to all clubs, existing or new, looking to partake in the DDLC Events.
As well as the League & Cup, the DDLC Committee runs 7 Graded fun tournaments throughout the season which are open to all Badminton Ireland affiliated players, the next of which is the ‘Octoberfest’ over the October Bank Holiday weekend.

For the 2024/25 Season, all League Group Stage Matches must be completed by Friday 31st. March 2025.
